Sam Liccardo is the mayor of the City of San Jose and is playing a lead role in COVID-19 relief and recovery efforts in both San Jose and the region. Since his appointment as mayor of San Jose in 2015, Liccardo has led the city through significant economic growth and is tackling the region’s most pressing issues, including but not limited to housing, transportation and closing the digital divide.
